04/18 - I'm still here.

I can't seem to find the time or the energy to write after the events of the last 6 weeks. Too much weighing on my mind these days. My husband has been very ill (and handling it well...Me, not so much) since a March hospital stay. Since, my family has had two tragedies that required our attendance. Seems these types of devastating events happen like infrequent tidal waves. Totaling overpowering one's feeble mind. Anyhow...I hope I get my groove back in the near future.

I finally changed the hunk of the month. It's getting harder to find pixes...except the gay community have lots! So some may be from those neighborhoods.

I've listed BLIND HEAT by me and SWEET & VICIOUS by Chayse Manning for free at Smashwords. Hopefully, Amazon, B&N, and all the other indie publishers will catch on and make the pricing change.

02/15 - Back in the building!

Wow! It's been some time since I've gotten online. In fact, I needed a vacation for the vacation. And what a vacation! Total relaxation. No cooking. No housecleaning. No outside interference. Pure fun. That's what I call pampered. :) Speaking of pampered...I enjoyed a full day at the spa - sauna, steam, jacuzzi, full-body salt glo, massage, facial. My! My! My! Talk about loose and limber and happy. Couldn't get any better.

I seriously thought I'd go nuts not having my computer or Dana or even pen and paper, but lo and behold, I didn't miss either for a minute. Had the e-reader to fill up the day, read more books than I ever have before. From all genres except non-fiction. What a joy that was while soaking up sunrays, breathing in the fresh scent of sea water, and wiggling my toes in sugar-white sand with a cocktail beside me. Can you tell I was relaxed?

Can you see how hard it'll be to get back to writing? We'll see what happens.
